Job Description
Our client is a manufacturer of galvanized wire. They seek to hire an Export Sales Manager who will be tasked with executing the company’s sales plan, thereby ensuring profitability and growth of the company’s brands in the designated Country and exploring new export markets to ensure the full capacity of production lines on all products.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure smooth clearance of goods at the border.
Monitoring export costs and ensuring they are standardized.
Maintain good relationships with government agents/suppliers.
Offer a quick response to any export issues.
Export Team management
Ensure market penetration of products into competitor’s markets.
Ensure customer complaints are resolved within 24 hours.
Develop and grow existing accounts.
Coordinate awareness raising for products through the use of presentations and training which are specifically designed for the Country.
Assist, advise, and participate in developing and implementing agreed strategies that grow the volume and profitability of the business in the assigned markets/regions.
Analyze all market intelligence reports and identify all new business opportunities to expand business and maintain an efficient portfolio.
Manage all communication with technical departments and perform various tests on products to ensure optimal quality of all products.
Operate pricing policy, quotations, and price follow-up of a range of products with all prospective clients and distributors with a focus on winning business quotes.
Requirements
Candidates should have 10 or more years of experience in the imports & exports industry.
Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline, preferably in Business Administration.
Have to be familiar with surrounding Export markets.
Familiar with the Tax Structure of different Countries.
Should have experience in doing/ managing clearing at the Kenyan border.
Good leadership skills.
Managed a team before.
