Scope of Work
The main objectives of this consultancy are as follows:
Review the existing CCAK strategic Plan (including existing business plan & corporate governance manuals)
Review the vision, mission, and existing strategic pillars based on research on evolving member needs, external and internal environment audits, KPI analysis, and sustainability analysis.
Review and update the Theory of change (TOC) and a resource mobilization plan for the 2023-2028 strategy.
Propose a strategy for achieving the strategic objectives and key results based on the cooking national strategies developed/under development.
Develop a monitoring framework for the next 5 years to include a dashboard/tracker/scorecard for CCAK activities.
Hold a membership validation workshop to validate the new Strategic Plan.
Finalize Strategic plan and submit to CCAK.
Qualifications
Master’s degree in a relevant field in strategic management and planning, public policy, sustainable development studies, renewable energy and natural resources management.
At least seven years of professional experience in strategic planning and management
Prior working experience on the clean cooking subsector is an added advantage.
Demonstrated experience in working with government partners, CSOs and other stakeholders in public sector development programs, especially in capacity development.
Skills and Competencies
Ability to work with minimal supervision.
High level written and oral communications skills in English and Kiswahili
Must be result-oriented, a team player, exhibiting high levels of enthusiasm, diplomacy and integrity.
Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and professional skills in interacting with government and development partners.
Skills in facilitation of stakeholder engagements/workshops
Evidence of having undertaken similar assignments
Experience in research, policy development, management, and programming-related work.

Previous experience in a similar assignment(s).
Detailed activity work plan with a proposal of days.
Financial proposal
Total budget (Kshs) aligned to the work plan and days proposed.
Copy of PIN Certificate for individual expert
Copy of valid Tax Compliance Certificate
NB: If the bidder shall outsource part or all services to other firms/individuals, this should be expressed clearly in the proposal including the list of potential service providers and respective roles in the assignment.
