POSITION OVERVIEW
This position is responsible for coordinating the customer order and efficiency of each of our truck routes, communicating specific delivery details to our drivers, Assets management and tying up loose logistical ends before final delivery times.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Inspect the assigned produce/products before loading to confirm on quantity and quality and also verify that they are maintained as per the set standards and also follow the Occupational Health and Safety standards in terms of expiry dates, KEBS Certification and storage instructions to avoid returns.
Follow the laid-out route plan, deliver ordered produce/products to vendors in the assigned route as per the delivery manifest.
Report on any excess or short landings of produce at the customer end during delivery.
Deliver goods at the scheduled time, keeping a clear log on delivery times for all orders, accounting for all assigned crates, ensuring the delivery notes and Invoice are stamped, signed as required as proof of delivery, invoice reconciling the invoice and collecting Payments.
Timely collection of customers returns and ensuring the end-of-day stock reconciliation completed within the set timelines.
Develop rapport, understand and anticipate the customers’ needs and initiate actions to solve them or escalate as required.
Maintain quality customer service in the delivery of the customer’s promise.
Build trusting relationships with customers. Keep the customers informed of and excited about their purchases with transit status updates and real-time communication until delivery.
Confirm that all orders have been delivered to the right customer. Build a specific, personalized post-purchase engagement. Address the customers’ concerns regarding Kwikbasket products, Ordering platform app and the overall customer experience
Report factors affecting last-mile order delivery and present recommended solutions
Ensure items are loaded properly to avoid damages, breakages or compromising of quality.
Ensure there is 100% order fulfilment by maintaining on-time and in-full delivery targets, and in case of any order reminders for whatever reason has to be delivered the same day.
Ensure all the invoices for the orders delivered on any particular day has to be submitted to accounts on the same day

Academic Qualifications
Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education
Experience
1 year working experience in produce delivery.
Familiarity with delivery practices and handling methods
Knowledge of variety of fruits and vegetables.
Experience working in a busy organization
Experience working with a FMCG organization will be an added advantage
