Job Summary:
The logistics supervisor will be responsible for overseeing and managing the day-to-day logistics operations at multiple locations. The role is crucial in maintaining a smooth supply chain and providing effective administrative support to the management.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervision and Driver Management:
Supervise and manage drivers’ activities, ensuring they follow assigned routes and schedules.
Monitor driver performance, adherence to SOPs, and compliance with safety regulations.
Handle any driver concerns or issues promptly and effectively.
Journey Planning and Fleet Management:
Plan and manage driver journeys to optimize delivery routes and maximize efficiency.
Utilize the fleet management platform to monitor vehicle locations and track progress.
Ensure proper vehicle maintenance and coordinate repairs as necessary.
Work with other fleet management apps like those for speed governors
Monitor, manage and request for adjustments the Total Fuel card balances
Ensure drivers assisting in coordination in ensuring loading is done fast
Reporting and Data Analysis:
Pull reports from the tracking platform and analyze data to assess performance against KPIs.
Prepare regular management reports for review and decision-making by the company directors.
Provide insights and recommendations for process improvements based on data analysis.
Fuel Management:
Manage fuel reports and ensure accurate documentation of fuel usage for each trip.
Monitor fuel expenses and identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency.
Communication and Coordination:
Foster clear communication and collaboration between all logistics team members.
Coordinate with other admins at different locations to ensure seamless operations.
Health and Safety:
Promote and enforce safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
Ensure compliance with local regulations and company policies related to health and safety.
Continuous Improvement:
Identify areas for process optimization and implement efficiency-enhancing initiatives.
Participate in performance review meetings and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.

Refer to Company Authority Matrix.
Accountability:
These responsibilities will be monitored and managed through the mid-year and annual performance review and supported through the monitoring of KPIs (Key Performance Indicators).

Qualifications & Experience:
Diploma or bachelor’s degree in a related field such as business or supply chain management
Proven, over 4 years’ experience in logistics or transportation management.
Proven experience in logistics or transportation management.
Familiarity with tracking and fleet management systems.
