Junior Accounting Manager

In this role:
You will support our external bookkeepers and tax advisors and ensure that our books are kept up-to-date and reconcile to allow monthly closings, including but not limited to:

Reviewing and approving expense reports from employees
Saving all required documentation to allow proper bookings from our external tax advisors, e.g., incoming and outgoing invoices, loan agreements, accruals, and bank statements
Following up with the tax advisors to ensure proper closing of the books
Working closely with the other Accounting Managers to ensure reconciliation of IC balances
Reviewing in detail the monthly management accounts and communicating any discrepancies to the tax advisors
Working closely with our treasury manager to ensure correct and timely tax payments, such as CIT (Corporate Income Tax) and VAT (Value Added Tax)
You will support on the day-to day accounting operations of your entities, which includes but is not limited to:

Managing the accounting emails, by replying to internal and external stakeholders
Saving and uploading all purchase invoices in our Accounting System (Accounts IQ)
Managing cost approval in purchase invoices

You will support on the year-end financial close of your entities according to IFRS for SME in close cooperation with our external tax advisors
You will be responsible for invoicing and revenue collection
You will challenge and improve the processes in your area of work and contribute to the automation and digitalization of ecoligo Group
You will calculate and monitor KPIs, special evaluations and statistics

Requirements

Accounting knowledge in IFRS
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
Fluent in English, our office language
1+ year of experience in a similar position
Prior knowledge in group consolidation would be a plus
You are thoroughly organized and have an eye for detail
You have excellent collaboration and communication skills
