Overview of the role
The successful candidate will be expected to be accurate and meticulous with data & analysis, with strong IT skills and experience with several business intelligence systems as an added advantage. The ideal candidate must be self-driven, highly competent individual with outstanding planning and organizational skills and a proven ability to adjust quickly to shifting priorities, multiple demands and rapid change. He/She should possess strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy. He / She should have a hands-on experience in Reporting, Market/Sales Data Analysis, and a team player.
Key Responsibilities
Business analysis
Support business strategies with quantitative analysis
Work cross-departmentally on data-driven strategies that improve business processes and decision-making.
Understand and interpret business objectives, processes, change, needs and assessing the impact of those changes.
Carry out market research on products and consumers across diverse markets in Eastern Africa
Financial Analysis
Forecasting, budgeting, and performing both variance analysis and financial analysis.
Quantitative analysis
Undertake price calculations, gross margins
Gathering, tracking, and analyzing performance metrics
Data Analysis
Provide weekly, monthly, and annual forecasts and resource planning in order to support the company performance objectives.
Extensive experience analyzing a variety of data for numerous stakeholders, in order to support their business requirements.
Management of monthly sales plans, forecasts and reports at subsidiary level.
Data Preparation:
Preparing Sales & Stock reports, presentations & information briefs to support business requirements.
Collaboration
Utilize interpersonal skills to develop good relationships with suppliers, distributors colleagues and management.
Support Sales Documentation processes in SAP/4 HANA
Participate in cross-functional meetings to resolve recurring customer issues
Provide customer support and assistance in issue troubleshooting and resolution
Market Analysis
Monitor market conditions, and prepare analysis of sales and market situation for Sales meetings.
Prepare management briefings on key topics and meet ad-hoc requests from all areas of the business.
Improve the frequency of internal reporting to support management decision-making.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
Understanding of basic accounting principles
Previous experience in a similar role preferably in FMCG sector.
Quantitative and business analysis skills
Experience in Excel, SAP/ S4 HANA, ONE CRM and PowerBI
Project Management skills
Proficient in relevant software application
Business Analytics tools Power BI, ONE CRM, SAP/ S4 HANA reports
Documentation and Presentation.
