Head of Operations

Key Responsibilities

Developing and implementing policies, procedures, and processes to improve operations and increase efficiency and productivity.
Evaluating and implementing new technologies and systems that improve the infrastructure and support the organization’s goals.
Maintaining a strong understanding of the organization’s business needs and working closely with other departments to ensure alignment with the overall goals.
Managing the budget and ensuring that expenses are in line with the organization’s financial goals.
Champion for defining, scaling, and operating processes along with project management excellence.
Coordinate customer service operations and find ways to ensure customer retention.
Manage contracts and relations with customers, vendors, partners, and other stakeholders.
Manage a portfolio of technology projects to meet cost, scope, and schedule constraints.
Leading a team and providing guidance and support to ensure that they are meeting their goals and objectives.
Keeping up to date with the latest trends and developments in IT operations management.
Provide support and guidance to stakeholders.
Identify key skills and talent gaps in the organization and work to recruit, train, and retain talent.
Ensures that the departments receive the guidance necessary to broaden and deepen their skills and continuously improve their performance.
Identify and manage external vendors in the delivery of contracted work.

Key Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in IT/ Business/Finance or a related field.
5+ years’ of Management experience in an IT/FinTech environment.
Knowledge of multiple operational functions and principles, including Software development and Support, Finance, Customer Service, Sales, and Employee Management.
Demonstrated experience in negotiating with business leaders to drive the effectiveness of the business.
Ability to streamline or implement structures and roles that boost efficiency while supporting rapidly shifting business demands.
Possess an influential personality and stellar leadership qualities.
Experience in developing budgets and business plans.
Superior negotiation skills for both internal and external purposes.
Strong working knowledge of data analysis and performance metrics, using business management software
Great public speaking skills.
Strong networking and management abilities.
