Data Assistants (5 Positions)

Job Summary – Purpose

Reporting to the field digital systems manager, the data assistants will be responsible for supporting Lwala and MOH team on digital systems.

Key Responsibilities

The responsibilities of the Data Assistant include but are not limited to:

Duties and Responsibilities.

Support data quality checks initiatives for Community Health Workers (CHW) metrics.
Support data entry as required by the tech teams.
Support program teams in providing digital tools data from LCA and MOH databases.
Attend CHWs and MOH sub-county team (CHAs) weekly and monthly data reviews.
Work with the Community Health team to facilitate data reviews for the Community Health programs and ensure data quality through continuous data quality checks.
Proactively communicate with field digital systems manager and Mother and Child program coordinators on data quality issues.
Work with digital systems team to resolve data quality issues.
Support the digital systems and MOH Team during CHWs trainings on digital tools that support programexpansion.
Document and maintain digital commodities register.

Qualifications and Experience

(The knowledge, skills and abilities may be acquired through a combination of formal schooling, selfeducation, prior experience, or on-the-job training)

Level of Education/Academic Qualification

Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Social Science or a Development related field with bias to Data and Information management.
The following will be an added advantage:

Certificate in data and information processing
Certificate in community development.
Basic training on/professional experience with the management of data and information sets in astructured manner.

Other Competencies/Abilities/Skills Required

IT competency.
Good analytical skills.
Experience in community participatory methodologies in rural Kenya.
Ability to work independently and under pressure.
Ability to write in a clear and concise manner.
Good interpersonal skills.
Ability to buildtrust among partners and colleagues.
Strong organizational and management skills.
Strong information technology skills.

Relevant Work Experience

At least one (1) year relevant work experience in a similar position.
