Responsibilities:
Oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of various events, including corporate functions, weddings, conferences, and social gatherings.
Manage the catering operations, including menu planning, food preparation, service, and quality control.
Collaborate with clients to understand their event requirements, provide expert guidance, and ensure their expectations are met or exceeded.
Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and internal departments to secure necessary resources and ensure seamless event execution.
Supervise a team of event staff, including catering personnel, servers, and event assistants, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
Monitor event budgets, expenses, and revenue to ensure profitability and cost-efficiency.
Maintain a strong focus on customer satisfaction, promptly addressing any concerns or issues to ensure a positive experience for all clients and guests.
Stay updated on industry trends, new event concepts, and catering innovations to enhance the quality and uniqueness of our offerings.
Requirements:
Proven experience in event management and catering, preferably in a supervisory or leadership role.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building positive relationships with clients, colleagues, and vendors.
2-3 years of event management eperience prefarably in a supervisory role.
Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure, resolving issues efficiently and diplomatically.
Proficient in using event management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in catering operations.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules.
