DESCRIPTION
We’re on the lookout for an experienced Field Supervisors who will ensure growth for clients, customers and Smollan by proactively influencing and managing relationships between the client, customers and employees; spotting opportunities and providing insights; managing the resources required to ensure efficient and effective day-to-day operations; and acting as a Smollan people custodian.
As a Field Supervisor you will be responsible for:
General responsibilities:
Support manager in managing day-to-day operating expenditure against operating budgets to ensure efficient usage of resources.
Communicate and ensure understanding of promotional activities and objectives by field team.
Check availability of point-of-sale materials in stores. Ensure promotional activities have been implemented and maintained.
Check to ensure generic, store-specific planograms and category flows are implemented/maintained.
Check shelf-health is implemented and maintained. Provide feedback to clients on slow/fast sellers and recommend appropriate actions to achieve sales targets.
Ensure proper management of stock in stock rooms.
Ensure forward share is equal with market share. Provide regular feedback to clients on forward share changes.
Compile trade contact reports
Collect and give feedback using available feedback platforms usage (e.g. manual tracking, SMART, etc.)
Gather reports/insights on competitor’s activities, promotions, rotation of stock, product recalls, pricing, planogram and new innovations.
Attend review meetings with clients, if requested
Leadership responsibilities:
Guide team to ensure effective delivery of team’s goals.
Drive learning and development of team in Field Marketing and DKSH behaviours to achieve team/function goals.
Drive self-learning and improvement in Field Marketing and DKSH behaviours as part of continuous learning.
Functional skills and knowledge:
Demonstrate basic experience in fast moving consumer goods, field sales and marketing.
Demonstrate basic numeracy and quantitative analysis skills.
Proven competency to handle confidential/sensitive information in an appropriate and secure manner.
Demonstrate fluency in local language and ideally in English, both written and spoken
Demonstrate proficiencies in office productivity tools (e.g. Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
REQUIREMENTS
What are we looking for?
To qualify for this role, you should have
2- 3 Years’ or more experience in the FMCG Industry as a senior sales representative
Degree, Higher or Basic Diploma in sales & marketing or relevant field
Sales Management
People management
Administration skills
Customer Service Skills
Communication Skills (verbal & written)
