Reports To: Security Manager
ROLE STATEMENT
Coordinate the development and maintenance of company security standards and monitor the implementation to ensure compliance with company policy and regulatory requirements.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Update Company Security Program (CSP ) and coordinate issuance of appropriate and up to date procedures and work instructions for security operations network-wide and provide necessary guidance and advisory support for proper implementation.
Supervise and provide appropriate guidance to outsourced security services, monitor compliance and competencies against Service Level agreements
Supervise maintenance of security incident reporting system and liaise with responsible manager for appropriate closure of any findings.
Undertake research on matters of security interest within the industry and provide relevant guidance on improvement for Jambojet operations.
Plan and Conduct security inspections and tests of Jambojet security operations and control measures to confirm conformance with regulatory requirements, security procedures, standards and recommended practices.
Generate monthly, quarterly and yearly security reports on behalf of security management.
Coordinates and support delivery of AVSEC training within the organization.
Manage issuance of security-controlled area passes, audit and keep inventory records. Ensure passes are surrendered upon termination and/or resignation.
Plan and manage duty rosters for security staff ensuring no violations on duty hours
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, EXPERIENCE
KCSE C and above
Be a certified AVSEC Instructor
Diploma or relevant professional qualification.
At least 5 years of aviation security experience.
Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
Organizational, planning & Analytical Skills.
Investigations and IT knowledge.
Knowledge of Criminal procedure code, Evidence Act and the Penal Code.
