Lecturer

Duties & Responsibilities:

Teaching and learning – creating teaching materials, preparing for tutorials and marking students’ work, as well as direct teaching
Curriculum development – participate in the implementation and review of the approved training curriculum.
Compliance– Comply with the local and international statutory and legal requirements in training and education.
Research – Utilize the nursing school resources to conduct and support applied nursing research. Contribute to the existing body of nursing knowledge by publishing medical journals and research papers. Participate in supervision and assisting of students in their research work.
Managing resources – Participate in the implementation of development of the School budget. Ensure appropriate utilization of resources in the school and devise cost containment measures.
Support students – Motivate, counsel and inspire students to be exceptional nurses and medical practitioners
Teamwork and collaboration: Work objectively with faculty, students and hospital staff in driving the school strategic objectives.

Qualifications & Requirements

BSN in Science in Nursing
Post Basic Course in a specialty nursing area
3 years’ experience in Teaching, clinical supervision and assessment of learners.
Must have a valid Nursing practice license
