Quality Assurance Manager

Key Requirements:

Lead the quality team and provide leadership in the implementation of GPL Quality and Food safety management programs.
Evaluate operational policies and systems to identify opportunities for improvement and facilitate continual improvement.
Develop and implement all quality assurance and food safety related plans.
Ensure outsourced services providers have valid contracts.
Initiate and provide guidance and ensure compliance with the certifications by relevant bodies such as KEBS, Kenya Dairy Boards, UNBS, TFDA, Halal
Generate and update the Lab Manual.
Co-ordinate and oversee all internal and external food safety and quality audits.
Participate in product development and ensure compliance with all relevant requirements, standards and industry best practices.

Qualifications:

Relevant Bachelor’s degree in food science or dairy science or any other relevant Degree.
Minimum 6 years working experience in quality management in FMCG at managerial level.
Must have a strong working knowledge of HACCP, GMP, ISO 22000, FSSC & other food management systems.
Must possess ISO 22000 or 9001 lead auditors Certificate.
