Digital Solutions Officer

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

Requirements elicitation, system specifications analysis and translate system requirements to task specifications.
Track the software development task to closure.
Internal and external client engagements
Develop effective documentation, manuals, strategies, and test plans.
Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results.
Evaluate product code according to specifications.
Create logs to document testing phases and defects.
Report bugs and errors to development teams
Provide technical support and customer service that include coding and rework.
Product deployment and user training Requirements:

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related Technical, Agriculture field.
2+ years of experience in digital product development or management.
Strong understanding of back-end and front-end development.
Experience with mobile app development (iOS/Android), USSD, and web applications such as C#, php.
Experience with agile methodologies, quality assurance, and testing methodologies.
Strong analytic curiosity and innovative problem-solving skills using design thinking.
Authority to work in Kenya.

Professional Skills:

A strong self-starter who can work with minimal supervision.
Strong discipline in meeting attendance and closure of action points in the agreed time
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities
Team player with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and communication skills.
