Internal Sales Engineer

Internal sales Engineer Duties and Responsibilities:

Receiving and qualifying new leads through inbound calls , emails and other channels and route as necessary.
Maintain expert level of product knowledge and applications to be able to define and suggest equipment selection new as well as replacement.
Production of quotations for customers in a clear, detailed and accurate manner.
•Provide quick, precise responses to all sales inquiries associated with special applications, systems and pricing.
Communicating with customers to gain feedback on quotations.
Following up on leads by making outbound calls to potential customers
Building relationships with customers and potential customers to understand their Requirements
Maintain accurate records of target accounts, opportunities, quotes, projects, contacts and correspondence in company databases.
Source equipment from various suppliers to be able to meet customer requirements.
Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales executives for further development and closure

Competencies and Qualifications

Technical Background Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
Minimum 2 years Experience in Technical Sales or Internal Technical sales.
Experience with CRM software and reporting.
Proven results of delivering client solutions and meeting sales goals.
Goal-oriented, organized team player.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong negotiation skills, with ability follow-through on client contracts.
Ability to multitask and manage more than one client account.
