Human Resource Officer

Duties and Responsibilities
Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, the Human Resource Officer (HRO) will support the administration of the human resource management function in the organization; including support in the recruitment, selection, and placement processes, support in performance, records and leave management, assess training needs and develop training programs, manage the Human Resource Information System (HRIS), liaise with insurance service providers, and provide staff care support.
Qualifications, Skills & Competencies

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or a bachelor’s degree in any social science or equivalent with a higher diploma in Human Resource Management from a recognized institution.
A CHRP-K finalist will be an added advantage.
Certified member of the Institute of Human Resource Management (IHRM) in good standing.
Have at least 3 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
Excellent knowledge and understanding of the Kenyan labour laws.
Working knowledge of the Human Resource Information System will be an added advantage.
Demonstrate a high sense of confidentiality.
Proficiency in the Microsoft Suite.
Excellent report-writing and presentation skills.
Strong planning, organizational, and training skills
