ICT Intern

Main purpose of the job

Provide IT Technical Support to users in terms of desktop support and helpdesk support.
Assist with maintenance and upgrading works.
Assist the system administrator to ensure proper equipment documentation as well as a physical inventory of assets.
Handle IT access control.
Assist in IT department-related administrative duties.
Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners.
Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks.
Responding in a timely manner to service issues and requests.
Providing technical support across the company (this may be in person or over the phone).
Setting up accounts for new users.
Repairing and replacing equipment as necessary.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer science, Cyber security, or any information technology-related course.
At least 1 year of hands-on experience in IT support.
Ability to be creative and take an ‘outside the box’ approach.
Ability to show and take initiative with proactive attitude.
Excellent time management skills.
Strong ethics with an ability to manage confidential information.
Strong interpersonal skills, demonstrating professionalism in all dealings.
Excellent written and oral skills.
Must have the ability to work as part of a team.
