Project Manager, Content and Digital Assets Impact Communications Specialist

Job Description
AMI is looking for an ambitious and talented Project Manager, Content and Digital Assets to support in the implementation of cutting-edge blended and virtual learning programmes as face of AMI to our clients. This is a chance for a driven, organized, tech-savvy professional with good people and project-managing skills, and the ability to effectively manage libraries/structures for digital assets. 
The successful candidate will report to the Chief Product Officer and manage a team of content / graphic designers and translation QA consultants and collaborate with multiple stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time and with high quality standards.
Responsibilities:
Project Management

Creating and maintaining all project management documentation and oversight strategies
Defining, documenting, and managing the project scope and deliverables
Secure buy-in, feedback and approvals on all project deliverables from all stakeholders.
Establishing communication strategies to proactively and effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders to share project status updates, progress reports, project risks, and adequate escalation of issues/risks as needed
Facilitating the resolution of bottlenecks within project teams as they arise
Coordinate with internal team and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of multiple projects on time, on budget and within scope
Work with AMI’s Finance Team to maintain project budgets and budget to actual (BTA) reports 

Translation management

Actively collaborate with AMI’s Learning, Partnerships and Finance teams in managing all aspects of the translation pipeline to ensure that AMI’s translated learning resources are delivered on time and are of the highest quality for delivery
Develop, track and update workflows, work plans, budgets, and project timelines with the translation team and manage the team’s performance of project tasks and activities
Manage all project data and deadline tracking including meeting notes, task lists, critical deadlines and dates
Ensure all translated resources are up-to-date on Dropbox
Support the internal team to upload and test all translated resources on AMI’s online learning platform
Provide day-to-day support to the translation team
Conduct post-project evaluation and identifying successful and unsuccessful project elements

Quality assurance and management of core content libraries

Define, document and manage AMI quality assurance processes for all digital assets and content.
Maintain core learning content analytics – using data to help develop strategic priorities to continue to build world-leading learning products and to inform learning product innovation.
Upload, tag and publish final content within learning platform, including development of formal and informal assessments.
Process management and content tracking; create and implement coding and tracking system for all content assets
Ensure IP/assets are catalogued, tagged and backed-up

Manage the Content and QA Teams

Support the content and quality assurance team to effectively manage content projects, establish efficient content processes
Ongoing management of the core external partners for content development (translation agency, audio recording, video production)
Hire, support, coach and develop team members to ensure that all are motivated and engaged

Qualifications & Experience

Degree in education, educational technology, instructional design, or related field
Project management training required; PMP certification an asset
At least 5 years of experience in digital asset development, management and distribution
Experience in learning design, programme or project management is an asset

Skills & attributes

Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices, especially Agile / Kanban processes.
Proficiency in the use of electronic project management and online collaboration tools, as well as Excel/Google Sheets for managing content data.
Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timelines
Proficiency with data asset management platforms, such as [CMS, LMS, LCMS]
Knowledge of conventional multimedia file formats, including still images, graphics, and motion videos and expertise with metadata management
Working knowledge of media development tools, e-learning tools, learning management systems, and their optimal application
Excellent analytical and negotiation skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work as part of a team
