Responsibilities
Ensure right stock available at the right time to meet the company ambitions.
Manage the sales forecasts quality.
Manage the global monthly sales forecast process.
Build the baseline forecast.
Challenge and coordinate the promotions and launches sales forecasts projected by the Sales and Marketing teams.
Ensure the global sales forecast consistency, through the building of a consensus between the commercial forecasts, the financial trend and the sales history.
Participate in the improvement of the sales forecast practices.
Participate in building the budgetary process by building up the sales units.
Be responsible for the catalogue management and contribute to its rationalization (Long tail cleaning).
Manage the launch process from conception until products are available in the market.
Prepare and report on Demand Planning indicators.
Ensure availability of stocks for sales while ensuring optimal stock holding.
In conjunction with the Supply Chain Manager define the company stock holding strategy.
Ensure timely transmission of supply requirements to the different suppliers.
Daily Stock follow up to minimize Out of Stocks.
Prepare and report on Supply Planning indicators.
Requirements
A Graduate with a Business/ Statistics/ Economics/Supply chain degree from a recognized University.
Have at least 2 years’ relevant work experience in Planning in an FMCG environment.
Good knowledge of MS office with very proficient excel skills.
Excellent Analytical skills.
Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills.
