Purpose of the role
The Production Planner’s primary role is to run the end-to-end supply chain network, including third parties and production lines, to meet consumer and customer service objectives, whilst maintaining optimal inventory and production efficiencies. This includes the long-term horizon production planning (frozen period to planning horizon),
Perform medium to long term capacity planning and recommend solutions to possible imbalances.
Some travel for this role may be required.
About the role
You’ll be responsible for weekly and monthly supply and product availability reporting including KPIs, monthly calls, weekly health tracker and/or risk assessments, sku exceptions.
Working collaboratively with Production Site Management, Production Schedulers, S&OP Business Partners and our leadership team, you’ll transform market demand requirements into a feasible production plan that satisfies customer needs and to ensure supply plans are effective.
You’ll identify risks and/or opportunities to the overall supply plan and implement required changes and communicate optimally to all stakeholders. Addressing any supply disruption or conflict situation through consensus solution or recommend for escalation.

You’ll be in charge of developing successful supply and inventory plans that take into account the unique circumstances of each market.
This role requires effective and clear communication skills as well as the ability to plan ahead to anticipate problems and risks.
The ideal candidate will have demonstratable understanding of the Supply Chain processes and procedures. Previous experience working in a FMCG industry is advantageous.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in appropriate Supply Chain, Mathematical, Engineering, food science or Business degree is beneficial.
