Education
High school diploma or equivalent is required. Supplementary courses or additional training and certification as Enterprise Resources Planning (ERP) Human Resources (HR) Partner, is desirable.
Passing the Global General Service Test (GGST) is a prerequisite for recruitment consideration in the General Services and related categories in the United Nations Secretariat.
Applicants who have not passed the GGST at the time of application may be invited for the test after submitting an application.
Work Experience
A minimum of five (5) years of experience in human resources management, administrative services or related area is required.
Experience in the use of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system is desirable.
Experience in data management and maintenance is desirable.
Work experience of one (1) year in data analytics is desirable.
Working knowledge of human resources policies, practices and procedures and ability to apply them in an organizational setting, is desirable.
Languages
English and French are the working languages of the United Nations Secretariat. For the position advertised, fluency in English is required. Knowledge of another official United Nations language is desirable. NOTE: “Fluency” means fluent in the four areas indicated on one’s profile; “knowledge of” is reflected by confidence in two of the areas.
