What You’ll Do?
Handle Bank reconciliation activities, including posting of payments and reconciliation of general ledger balance to bank statements for Tala Globally.
Support the accounting team with standardized roles ie Balance sheet account reconciliations.
Support Month_close processes.
Handle Ad-hoc Accounting projects
Handle 2-3 countries full-on month end close process.
Understand local tax filing requirements.
What You’ll Need
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Related Field
4+ years experience in the accounting and finance sector
CPA K registered with ICPAK
Strong analytical, communication and problem-solving skills
Good understanding of IFRS and US GAAP (added advantage)
Understand local tax requirements
