Digital Finance Services User Experience and Security Assessment for a Rural Agri-MFI

Pre-Assignment tasks:

 Hold a kickoff meeting with host MFI and F2F staff to introduce the volunteers and go through the key SOW objectives and outcomes .
 Review relevant materials such as previous assignment trip report for K-04 , system audit reports, performance reports with information on the design and operational set up of the core and an y addition a l systems
 Review business plan and operational manual s to understand the current business model and major process flows .
 Work with the host to finalize workplan with key activities .

Assignment Tasks:

 Hold an orientation meeting with F2F staff
 Hold kick-off meeting with F2F team and MFI host to finalize the workplan and the expected deliverables
 In discussion with the MFI management review all the system s , products , and services that the institution has adopted.
 Validate the change areas outlined in 3 above through a meeting with the IT teams and Change Review Managers
 Conduct a field visit and document user experience report.
 Come up with recommendations on how to improve the User Experience of all the products.
 Train the Product Support Staff and customers representatives on how to use the modified systems and how to handle changes
 Develop a trip report
 Develop final presentation
 Hold debriefing meeting with F2F team/ host MFI to discuss results and recommendations from assignment.
 Submit final trip report and presentation.

End of assignment report and other deliverables :

 Diagnostics report on status, performance, and areas of development to strengthen secure ease of use.
 Trip report
 PowerPoint presentation
 Any other materials and tools: questionnaires used, scripts, interview notes and guidelines etc.

​ Expertise of Volunteer Experts Requested: ​

​​Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science , Information Systems, Graphic Design, or related field. Or equivalent work experience plus training in Human Factors, Cognitive Psychology, or related field , o r equivalent work experience.
5 or more years’ experience in conducting user experience research using a wide variety of research methods with at least 1-year of experience in financial sector applications or services.
Proficiency with usability testing tools or services
Proficiency with wireframing/prototyping tools.
Ability to design prototypes, screen mockups, and wireframes based on the results of usability testing and customer feedback.
Experience in collaborating with product management, business development, research and prototyping team/departments in a financial institution to define the next generations of business concepts, products and user solutions
Over 5 years of experience collaborating with interaction designers and other user experience professionals to define and improve the user experience.
Demonstrated success at developing creative and comprehensive research strategies to reveal unforeseen opportunities and issues that have a significant impact on product strategy and design. ​​High organizational and facilitation skills and ability to handle complex tasks with tight deadlines. ​
Excellent written and spoken English
