Data Entry – Paleographer

Purpose of the role
Is to be able to read source documents and enter data in specific data fields using keyboarding tools. Compare data with source documents or re-enter data in verification format to detect errors. He will also Update relevant information to on various project databases online and offline.
Job Description

Should be able to work on old handwriting transcription project documents from 1800. 
Candidates who have earlier done Paleography training are preferred.
Should have successfully worked on a handwritten project before
Typing speed of 40 WPM and above and an accuracy of 99%.
Excel proficiency
Able to meet set targets within the stipulated time frame.
 Keen on details

Qualifications

Diploma / Certificate holder in any relevant field.
Basic knowledge of MS Office applications.
Fluent in written and verbal English.
Typing test score 40 WPM to be achieved in typing skill test.
The minimum score to be achieved in the Vendor reasoning/analytical test.
Quick learner and able to decipher complex information.
Strong interpersonal skills, verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent web research skills.
Keen attention to detail and good time-management skills.
