ICT Manager Lecturer- Applied Theology

Job Description:
The ICT Manager will lead the development and execution of the organisation’s Information and Communication Technology (ICT) strategy. The manager will work closely with other departments to identify and implement technology solutions that drive business growth and improve operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement an ICT strategy that aligns with the organisation’s business objectives
Manage and maintain the organisation’s ICT infrastructure, including hardware, software, and telecommunications systems
Ensure that proper support is provided to end users
Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and assess their potential impact and advise the organisation accordingly
Lead and manage a team of ICT professionals, providing guidance and mentorship
Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers
Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations regarding data protection and privacy
Ensure the security of ICT infrastructure and data of the organisation
Prepare and manage the ICT departmental budget, and participate in decision-making

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
Minimum of 5 years experience in ICT work, out of which at least two years involved in ICT administrative or managerial role
Strong leadership and management skills
Experience with ICT infrastructure management, including hardware, software, and telecommunications systems
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
