About the role:
We are looking for a Junior IT officer who will join us and undertake a variety of IT duties with us as we continue to grow and build the organisation. The Ideal candidate is expected to possess both knowledge and practical experience in performing general IT duties. The Ideal candidate must have a minimum 1 year experience in IT working with computer hardware and software, networking protocols, cybersecurity practices and other relevant areas in IT.
Key Duties and responsibilities:
Offering initial technical assistance to end users by addressing their queries.
Assist in training end users.
Assist in maintaining accurate records.
Assist in installing and configuring software.
Assist in maintenance and monitoring of network infrastructure.
Assist in the development and implementation of data backup and recovery procedures to ensure data is not lost in case of system failure.
Collaborating with other functional teams to support ongoing technology projects and initiatives.
Qualifications
Must have at least 1 year working experience in IT
Must have a relevant degree or diploma in any IT related course
Experience using Mikrotik and Ubiquiti products is a plus
