Key Responsibilities:
Develop marketing initiatives by planning, executing, and tracking of marketing programs such as email, event, social media, or content marketing.
Achieve the objectives of the marketing activities within the determine timeline.
Achieve the set sales targets.
Works together with the sales team to create actionable and measurable campaign activities (media, press meetings, events, emails, websites, social media, etc.).
Responsible for managing campaign delivery while ensuring optimum efficiency and value for money, producing a plan and monitoring expenditure.
Collect and analyze competitor/market intelligence on monthly basis and package the same for decision making in various forums. In addition, support the performance of market studies for customer satisfaction, product performance and market perception.
Coordinate needs and execution by collecting the needs of National and Regional distributors through the key account plans and meetings and ensure proper execution of all the activities on the ground and alignment to the plans.
Provide relevant marketing materials by coordinating with the sales team to secure availability of the material on time.
Plan & execute the creative, technical, and logistical elements of major events including overall design theme, marketing literature, audio visual coordination, speech writing as well as budgeting and negotiation.
Customer Relationship Management, Product Pricing and Branding and Demand Planning Influencing.
Independently coordinate marketing and farmer events, including overseeing logistics, managing registrations, coordinating with vendors, creating itineraries, and ordering marketing materials.
Create, proofread, and edit copy for various marketing channels, ensuring a consistent voice.
Evaluate and monitor campaign performance on an ongoing basis by analyzing key metrics and creating comprehensive reports.
Manage relationships with external vendors to ensure high-quality and timely execution of marketing programs, and to ensure competitiveness.
Conduct market research and identify trends
Planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions.
Meets marketing and sales financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
Accomplishes marketing and sales objectives by planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating advertising, merchandising, and trade promotion programs; developing field sales action plans.
Identifies marketing opportunities by identifying consumer requirements; defining market, competitor’s share, and competitor’s strengths and weaknesses; forecasting projected business; establishing targeted market share.
Improves product marketability and profitability by researching, identifying, and capitalizing on market opportunities; improving product packaging; coordinating new product development.
Sustains rapport with key accounts by making periodic visits; exploring specific needs; anticipating new opportunities.
Protects organization’s value by keeping information confidential.
Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
Accomplishes marketing and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
Key Qualifications:
Degree in Marketing or Sales with a marketing background preferably
Minimum of 5 years in Marketing in an agrochemical company or non-FMCG sector
Preferably aged above 35 years
MUST have a valid Driving License (Class BCE) and capable of driving a manual car
Good understanding of the agriculture sector and willing to travel 80% of the time
Knowledge of data protection and advertising standards
Fluent communication in English and Kiswahili
Knowledge in CRM, Brand management, campaigning and digital tools (Sales force, social media)
Ability to conduct PowerPoint presentations to large groups of farmers, growers and stockists
Driven, energetic, sense of urgency, competitive nature, born marketer, good judgment, strategic thinking, focus on customers, results oriented, attention to detail, team player

Ability to work with minimal supervision
