Category Manager Business Development Manager

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement category strategies to drive sales and profit growth
Conduct market research and analysis to stay ahead of industry trends and competition
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, marketing, and supply chain, to ensure a seamless customer experience
Manage vendor relationships to ensure product availability and optimize cost
Create and execute category plans, including product assortments, pricing, and promotional strategies
Analyze sales data and market trends to make informed recommendations for category growth
Monitor category performance and adjust strategies as needed to meet business goals

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field
5+ years of experience in ecommerce category management
Strong analytical skills and experience using data to inform decision-making
Proven track record of developing and executing successful category strategies
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional teams and vendors
Knowledge of ecommerce technology and platforms, including experience with marketplaces such as Amazon and Walmart
