Digital Communications and HR Associate

Role Purpose
The overall purpose of this role is double-pronged:

To lead the Digital communications execution for HPDA and all vertical services within the organisation
To lead the execution of administration work under the Director’s desks, across the development, recruitment and consulting pillars

Responsibilities
Digital Marketing and Social Media Management

Lead the strategy and execution of digital marketing for all verticals under umbrella company
Set up and optimize company pages within each platform to increase the visibility of company’s social content
Create editorial calendars and syndication schedules
Develop marketing collateral to be released during marketing campaigns and weekly organization updates
Continuously improve by capturing and analyzing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights and best practices, and then acting on the information
Optimize paid advertising campaigns using SEO and other tools
Report on the growth and analytics of campaigns to stakeholders
Increase awareness, traffic, engagement on business vertical offerings.
Develop reports on the performance of marketing campaigns
Publishing social media content and scale engagement online
Track performance of social media campaigns and scale devise strategies to

Communication Management (Print, Audio and Video)

Newsletter and website blog management – collating, writing and publishing materials
Identify and secure external speaking engagements for company representatives (Conferences, Panels, Podcasts)
Identify and secure external print presence (African and International Newspapers, Magazines)
Development and management of the HR Podcast (Design, planning, overseeing production and release
Work with the team in reviewing and up-dating the HPD Africa website and social media sites

HR Consulting Support

Assist in the conceptualising of customised client need based proposals
Assist in the administration of the generation of consulting materials and reports
Research and develop company-specific policy manuals, employee handbooks, stakeholder sensing toolkits, culture survey questionnaires and performance management tools or other work as may be required to fulfil client assignments
Support the delivery of HPDA Consulting assignments
Liaise and manage client relationships end to end during a consulting project as required

Administration

Support the HPDA team in the design and development of key organisational documents (Proposals, Client reports, Presentations and digital media collateral) to align with brand guidelines
Continuously provide digital and efficiency best practice research/know how in the operations of the team

Qualifications
Technical Competencies

Strong digital marketing skills
Strong written communication capability
Commercial awareness and Business Development skills
Stakeholder/Relationship/Account Management skills
Proficiency in Professional Social Media platforms i.e. LinkedIn, Twitter
Proficiency in Canva and Microsoft (MS) Suite
HR certification is beneficial
