Job Summary
The purpose of this role is to manage delivery of essential Human Resources and Administration activities across all Jacaranda Health functional areas in order to ensure the departments receive real time human resource and administration services in line with established policies.
Preferred start date: End February 2023
Main Responsibilities
Providing support to the full spectrum of HR functions including; Talent acquisition by active participation in review of job descriptions, shortlisting, interviewing and onboarding of new staff.
Management of performance, learning & development of JH staff by ensuring each staff is subjected to JH’s performance management process.
Formulation of HR policies, guidelines and procedures as assigned and ensure compliance of all labor regulations.
Support the Head of HR & Administration in championing culture transformation initiatives in the organization to entrench and drive desired behaviors that bring to life the JH’s values amongst all the staff
Management of all administrative activities to provide a conducive work environment that promotes continuity of JH work.
Supporting employee relations by providing guidelines and clarifications on policies/procedures.
Manage the benefit plans, including medical insurance, life insurance, workers’ compensation paid time off and leave management.
Manage Employee contracts to ensure prompt issuance of accurate terms of engagement. contract
Management of the Sage HRIS portal and processing payroll for approval by the Head of HR & Administration.
Complete and file applicable documents for labor regulation, NSSF, NHIF and reports on employment and benefit plans
Management of HR/Administration filing system both physical & online personnel files by close supervision of HR & Administration Coordinator.
Manage HR Notion page ensuring all relevant guidelines /policies & procedures are updated and uploaded.
Occupational Health and safety management, ensuring JH is in compliance with the legal requirement.
Coach direct report on matters of Human Resources & Administration.
Perform any other related assigned duties.
Requirement
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or any other related fields
Certified Human Resource Professional I or II (CHRP I or II)
Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience
Knowledge of the Kenyan Labour Laws and statutory requirements
Experience with HR databases and HRIS systems (Sage)
Tech savvy, proficient in MS Office and G-Suite
Knowledge of human resources processes
