Responsibilities:
The Financial Controller is responsible for managing the day to day operations of the accounting department, such as preparation and management of the resort financial budgets, implementing and overseeing all activities relating to the financial aspects of the resort in compliance with local, state laws and the resort’s SOPs.
Responsible for the financial analysis, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, audit and control, asset and liability reconciliation, working capital and cash control.
Assist General Manager with all Finance related matters in the Resort.
Qualifications:
4 year degree from accredited University/College with Accounting through intermediate levels
Two (2) to Four (4) years of experience in the related position.
Require a working technical knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and job knowledge of all positions in Accounting, Purchasing and Food & Beverage control. Working knowledge is generally learned on-the-job or through a series of professional certifications.
Ability to read, write and speak English.
A working knowledge of hotel systems and operations.
Strategic, analytical and have solid business acumen.
