Accountant Internship

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Post and process journal entries to ensure all transactions are recorded.
Update accounts receivable and issue invoices.
Update accounts payable and perform reconciliations.
Maintaining bank files, updating transfers for all our accounts.
Bank reconciliations.
Petty cash management and reconciliation.
Handling all cash transactions and organizing for timely banking.
M-Pesa Account management and reconciliation.
Stock take and stock reconciliation.
Posting Workshop bills, Fuel, Job cards and billing customers on the same.
Posting Mpala’s and staff vehicle fuel consumption and Motor vehicle Repairs

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Certified public accountant part II section IV.
Degree in business management, accounting, finance or any other related field.
Excellent knowledge of MS Office and familiarity with relevant computer accounting software. 
Good with numbers and an analytical acumen.
Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices.
A well-organized team player with the ability to perform various tasks, act individually, and think creatively.
Excellent organizing abilities and attention to detail.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Self-driven.
Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
Dependable, honest and trustworthy.
Energetic, positive, and constructive attitude.
