Key Purpose Statement
The role of stores Clerk is to effect timely issues and continuous inventory control as per Engineering Stores Standard of Operation. The role involves receiving direct requests from various unit customers and advise/fulfil their request as per availability.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Ensure spares availability to minimise machine breakdowns
Perform incoming Spares inspection
Communicate and work in resolving with vendors/suppliers any spares non-conformance
Liaise with procurement in monitoring spares progress and deliveries
Identify and resolve all issues in Engineering Stores and ensure achievement of all short and long-term objectives
Tracking the status of inventory on a weekly basis and providing timely reports
Conduct spares cycle counts and reconcile any variances
Ensure safety of all spares, tools and equipment in the Store
Complete store administration and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures
Ensure safety and good housekeeping in the store
Material Creation in MDRM 8
Experience
Minimum 1 year in a similar role or Inventory Clerk or any other related role
Minimum 2 years in an FMCG, bottling or food processing plant
Education
Degree or Diploma in Engineering
