Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the recruitment process – Job posting, preparing the longlist, contacting candidates and organizing interviews.
Support in the onboarding process – Preparation of the induction program and welcoming of new staff.
Prepare national staff contracts, national consultancy contracts, internships agreements following labor regulations and internal guidelines.
Liaise with Managers for contract renewals in due time and make constantly follow up to this process.
Prepare and submit payroll information to ILRI HR in a timely manner.
Maintain an up to date and accurate staff records, filing system and HR online systems.
Updating of internal documents – leave records, chargeback forms, recruitment reports, contract report for SSA and CIP-SSA contact list.
Assist in the payment process for consultants.
Collaborate in preparing exit documents and taking the staff through the exit process.
Comply with applicable health and safety CIP policies and procedures.
Any other duties may be assigned.
Requirements
What are we looking for?
Bachelor´s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or related field.
At least 1 year of experience required in similar positions, especially working in the Human Resources area.
Proficient in MS Office, preferably in excel and power point to prepare reports, spreadsheets, and presentations.
Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple projects.
Customer service oriented to support colleagues in the SSA region.
Attention to detail.
Demonstrate a high integrity and confidentiality.
Advanced written and oral communication skills in English, Fluent in Kiswahili.
