Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Designing testing standards, templates, quality gates, engagement models, service level agreements and change control process.
Leading the QA Chapter, developing Test Strategies, reviewing existing Test Plans and scripts and working with cross-functional Product development team and Project Management teams.
Define suitable metrics for measuring automated test progress and evaluation of the quality of the testing process and products
In charge of the capacity planning for the QA team, managing the budgets and costs against revenue.
Leads and collaborates with the product teams to define the overall testing strategy and plan; defines testing approach and scenarios for requirements
Assists the teams in identifying additional details concerning specific requirements beyond standard scenarios (edge cases, non-functional)
Automates functional / non-functional tests by leveraging and extending testing frameworks as required
Take part in the performance management process, whose framework entails one on ones, 360 feedback degrees, surveys, formal sessions weekly meetings and retrospective
Minimum Requirements and Qualifications
Degree in IT, Computer Science / Computer Engineering
ISTQB Certification is a plus
Knowledge of quality assurance terminology, methods & tools
Knowledge and/or experience in using JIRA, Git/Gerrit, Jenkins
Experience in Behavior Driven Testing, Selenium, Cypress, Junit, Truth
Experience working with Web Services and APIs.
Experience with developer toolchains (such as docker, node, npm, Grunt, Gulp, or Webpack) a plus.
Experience with Java and Oracle Databases.
Database experience including proficiency at writing and executing SQL database queries
ISO 9001:2008 quality system experience
