Roles and Responsibilities
The Monitoring and Evaluation will have the following roles and responsibilities:
Monitor and evaluate ADSW’s development of tools and guidelines that integrate different thematic focus areas, environmental sustainability and meet international.
Conduct capacity assessment on existing monitoring and evaluation system.
Developing indicators and a monitoring strategy for all the projects.
Perform M & E monthly, quarterly, biannual and and annual reporting to all financing partners, the board of ADSW ) beneficiary players, smallholder farmers and other stakeholders as advised.
Ensure the data and information collected through the M&E system is analyzed, disseminated, and used to advance accountability, demonstrate the impact of the program, and promote learning for improved programming and influencing.
Lead in the planning and implementation of periodic monitoring exercises and data quality assessments including dissemination of findings and follow-up of action points.
Assist in the monitoring of the work programmes of the organization and prepare progress reports, as required.
Develop and strengthen monitoring, inspection, and evaluation.
Undertake statistical analysis on activities carried out and prepare reports to assist in enhancing service delivery which meets the organization’s donor.
Record, manage and preserve monitoring and evaluation data in a safe and accessible
Support projects progress reporting, projects mid-term review and final evaluation of projects.
Review the quality of existing data in the projects’ subject areas, the methods of collecting it, and the degree to which it will provide good baseline statistics for impact evaluation.
Support in delivering training that focuses on Agri-Nutrition, Post-harvest handling and good agricultural practices among others.
Assist in the development of data collection tools i.e Profiling, linkages, training, sales, and technology.
Produce reports and dashboards on M&E findings and prepare presentations based on M&E data as required.
Check that monitoring data are discussed in appropriate forums and in a timely manner in terms of implications for future action.
Collect, document, and share success/impact
Offer key support in proposal development for new fund raising opportunities. Develop monitoring frameworks for all new projects in proposal submissions.
Perform other organizational duties as may be assigned by the supervisor from time to time.
Participate and contribute in committees and task forces to which you are nominated or appointed to.

Qualifications and Experience
Bachelors’ Degree in project management , or other degrees related to social sciences and Community Development, , program design, or statistics or other course M&E related.
A relevant masters degree is desired.
Professional qualification in project monitoring.
Undergone training in M& E .
At least 3 years field level experience preferably working with an NGO or INGO
Extensive experience and recognized expertise in the full range of evaluation theories, models and tools, and ability to adapt, contextualize and apply appropriately to all project scenario.
Proven ICT skills, especially in the development of MIS software using database software.
