Job Purpose
Provide effective clinical services to the Mpala staff.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Undertake the observation, monitoring and assessing of patients conditions as well as planning and implementing the care needed.
Ensure maintenance of patients records;
Undertake the observation, monitoring and assessing of patients conditions as well as planning and implementing the care needed.
Oversee triaging and recording patients vital signs assess their medical conditions and records the findings.
Provide optimal care to patients using available resources
Utilize and maintain clinic equipment and instruments as appropriate.
Initiate emergency, safety practices and fire safety measures as appropriate.
Maintain adequate stocks of drug in the clinic as per approved procedures
Requisition required drugs and monitoring the consumption.
Prepare timely and accurate reports as required.
Participate in drawing the clinic budget.
Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Diploma in Kenya Registered Community Health Nursing.
Registration certificate issued by Nursing council of Kenya.
Valid practising license from Nursing Council of Kenya.
3 years experience required.
Excellent interpersonal skills and a team player;
Knowledge of international standards of providing nursing care.
Good listening and communication skills;
