Key Responsibilities and Tasks
Partner with Global QE and EMEA head of QE to select and implement tools in Africa making actionable information accessible to key stakeholders, to ensure a more reliable quality in Africa.
Own and control QE projects in Africa.
Support implementing for Africa QE Systems, including Quality Risk Assessment (RA), Complaints management, CAPA management tools to ensure reliable quality supply and customers satisfaction.
Support development of claims management processes & systems (such as eClaim App.) and metrics, reporting; connections with customers satisfaction KPIs (e.g. Net Promoter Score) developed by marketing and manage complaints.
Create CAPAs derived from complaints, perform complaint trend analysis and support defining and guide EMEA cross-functional CAPA projects derived from complaints, issues or trend analysis.
Use RA, CAPA and complaints management to secure QE culture and drive continuous improvement and optimization across African sites aligning with EME QE and other product lines.
Assist Africa Nonconformance Management (Recalls, Incidents, Complaints).
Support Quality RAs at sites level for Africa covering non-conformance evaluation, external activities, improvement projects and perform RA for Africa QE.
Support EMEA SAS & project manager to conduct Seed Safety Studies.
Support EMEA QE Manager Crop Protection (CP) in QE activities for CP in Africa.
Focus on Quality RAs for Africa to identify options and make recommendations for the design and development of RM systems, processes, trend monitoring, trainings & overall continuous improvements.
Support development and documentation of Quality RM key metrics (KPI’s).
Partner with key stakeholders to determine quality RM information that needs to enable timely and accurate decisions across Africa Product Supply and align with other product lines.
Responsible for identifying trends to improve process and reduce future risks; establish business impact, development, and implementation of sustainable RM process to capture and monitor quality risks – partner with IT, QA, QC, external partners and Global Quality.
Ensure uniformity of RM best practices across Africa aligning with other product lines.
Prepare for Quality Management Reviews for Africa and provide input from Africa for the regional- and global QMR.
Support EMEA SAS & project excellence manager by collaborating and aligning with local X-functional teams in Africa on harmonized processes for IMS/QA&CPQ/QE and MoC.
Partner with MEX in Africa and regional Quality BPL on onePSS deployment focussing on the Quality pillar and –culture
Focus on Process excellence for Quality processes in Africa.
Provide quality expertise for troubleshooting, guidance and assistance to Africa sites.
Qualifications, Skills and Competencies
Relevant Bachelor-, master’s degree or equivalent for Biology, Agronomy, Chemistry, Supply Chain, or related field
5 years’ experience in Product Supply processes and preferable risk- and complaint management.
Ability to understand broader business issues.
Excellent communication, influencing, team player, change-, project management skills, fluent English speaking.
Demonstrated ability to work at a detailed level while maintaining the overall business vision and objectives.
Experience in cross-functional/cross-cultural teams.
Track record of being able to align and influence global and regional stakeholders at all levels.
Auditing experience is an advantage.
