Institutional Sales Executive

JOB DESCRIPTION
Our client, a furniture store, is seeking to recruit an experienced and result-driven Institutional Sales Executive to join their Marketing team. The Institutional Sales Executive will be responsible for marketing their products to the hospitality industry most specifically to reputable hotels in Kenya. The ideal candidate is someone with prior experience in HORECA. In addition, he/she should be an outstanding communicator, and will also demonstrate excellent interpersonal and analytical skills.
Responsibilities

Generating Leads-Identify new market opportunities via market research and initiate contact
Conducting market research to identify new business opportunities.
Contacting potential clients in the hospitality industry to establish rapport and arrange meetings.
Developing and sustaining solid relationships with clients and company stakeholders
Following up on customer experience and providing feedback on customer satisfaction or complaints
Analyzing financial data and developing effective strategies to reduce business costs and increase company profits.
Create proposals for existing clients to improve their business utilizing company services
Collaborating with company executives to determine the most viable, cost-effective approach to pursue new business opportunities.
Reviewing their performance against set targets

Qualifications

Diploma or Degree in Business Management, Business Administration, Sales and Marketing or a related field
4-5 years’ experience in B2B sales in the HORECA
Excellent Customer service skills
Great relationship management skills, Interpersonal and Communication skills
Exceptional negotiation and decision-making skills
