Store Supervisor

POSITION OVERVIEW
The position is responsible for ensuring stock is well maintained, assigning and coordinating staff work schedules.
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Bachelors in Supply Chain Management/Business Management/food science or a relevant field.
3 years of working experience in stores supervision in a fresh produce company.
Experience working in FMCG company dealing with fresh produce will be an added advantage.
Experience in stock handling and inventory management.
Experience in administering processes and daily work flow.
Experience in data management.
Proven experience in team development.
Proven knowledge of varieties of fruits and vegetables.
Knowledge of operating a weighing machine.
Proficiency with email, Microsoft Office, and operations-related applications including scheduling and ordering software.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Store Management- Produce receiving, storage and dispatch of stock

Responsible for end to end store management duties such as overseeing produce receiving, grading, storage, staging and dispatch.
Coordinate process flow to ensure products are dispatched on time to meet on-line customer delivery promise.
Coordinate the staging of stock in stores for easy accessibility by the packing team.
Maintain high standards of hygiene and proper organization of the store at any given time.
Direct, assign and supervise job duties for Team Members both in packing and stores in absence of the packing supervisor.
Cooperating with other leaders in all areas to ensure successful and continuous operations
Issuing and keeping records of staff uniforms and other working equipment and ensuring they are submitted back by the exiting staff.
Complete all appropriate company documentation and key tasks, on every shift
Minimum stock reviews, stock /consumption projections in liaison with the location head and sourcing manager.
Timely submission of daily requisitions to the sourcing manager in copy of the operations head.

Tracking and Reporting

Prepare daily, weekly and monthly inventory reports keeping abreast of any issues such as stocking levels.    
Stock reconciliation, stock requisition, accurate and timely stock report.
Combining wastage report and submitting to the line manager.
Report and escalate systemic issues as necessary and in a timely manner.
Tracking inventory keeping in mind the minimum stock level and reporting.
Report any maintenance issues immediately to line manager, including all crates and weighing equipment.

Performance management

Manage employee performance e.g. routine performance discussions and provision of feedback.
Translate strategy into executable plans while motivating your team with clear direction by setting clear goals and KPIs each quarter.
