Chief People Officer

Role Responsibilities:

Culture building- define and ensure recruitment, onboarding, training, promotion and customer service all reinforce the company’s culture and align to its mission, vision and values.
Leadership quality – Examine leadership styles found throughout the organization and ensure all managers rely on practices that match the company values.
Teamwork – Establish collaboration practices and cultivate an emotional connection among the senior leadership team and all employees.
Team building – Plan and carry out events and initiatives for employees and evaluate the relationship between these initiatives and indicators such as retention and engagement rates.
Communication – Act as a liaison between employees and the senior leadership team.
HR – Review and define hiring practices, employee handbooks, orientation programming and conflict resolution policies.
Talent Management – Champion and develop an L&D strategy and upskilling initiatives that attract and retain top talent.
Organizational design – Be responsible for the org structure and team growth through predictive analytics in line with the company growth strategy.
Compensation & Benefits – Drive an equitable and fair strategy that applies a DEI lens.
Compliance – Spearhead and ensure all P&C processes are compliant to Country Labor Laws.

Role Competencies:

Business acumen: Understand how the organization operates and merge P&C strategy to business strategy through design of policies and initiatives to optimize employee experience and ultimately customer service and delivery.
Digital Proficiency: Create a digital-first culture by harnessing and integrating technology into P&C operations to improve employee experience, organizational productivity and business growth.
Communication: Communicate the company’s culture goals through internal communications, staff meetings and one-on-ones.
People Advocacy: Become an effective, trusted and ethical advocate for people and manage diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace.
Leadership: Assess the company’s goals and values and day-to-day practices and better align them.
Emotional intelligence(EQ); A high level of EQ is required to foster cross-functional collaboration; manage conflict and grievances; and integrate new staff following mergers and acquisitions.

Reports to: Chief Executive Officer
Who you are:

Someone with 10+ years of experience in Human Resources, organizational development, behavioral psychology, or executive leadership in roles requiring a blend of analytical and strategic skills.
A leader who is able to set direction and vision, drive innovation and manage change.
Able to work cross functionally and across all levels, build relationships and drive alignment across all levels of the organization
Comfortable interacting with senior leaders, external partners, and staff at all levels, with excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
Experience in delivering results in a fast growing tech startup.
Familiar with the MarkeForce ecosystem.
Acumen in applying a DE&I lens and principals to your work and a deep understanding of P&C principles and fundamentals.
