Duties and Responsibilities
Duties and responsibilities at this level will entail:
Monitoring education institutions, programmes and projects; generating and compiling education data;
Monitoring ICT integration in education;
Promoting education standards, culture and environmental sustainability; and
Implementing education policies.
Requirements for appointment
For appointment to this grade, an Officer must have:
Served in the grade of Education Officer or graduate teacher I for a minimum period of three(3) years;
Bachelor’s degree in education from a recognized institution;
OR
Bachelor’s Degree in Arts or Science with Education from a recognized institution;
OR
Bachelor’s degree in Arts or Science from a recognized institution and a post graduate Diploma in Education from a recognized institution;
Certificate in Computer applications from a recognized institution; and
Shown merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results.
