About the Job:
As a WFM Engineer at Sama, you will be responsible for the full-stack implementation of custom features of the workforce management tool. You will collaborate with stakeholders to understand their pain points and work under the direction of the project management lead to ensure the successful implementation of the requested features. You will be responsible for building and maintaining custom features for different cross-functional stakeholders. As a WFM engineer, you will provide support to our internal stakeholders on the smooth running of the WFM initiatives. Your primary goal is to ensure optimal and consistent availability and data quality of the WFM tool.
Key Responsibilities:
Overall WFM system administrator for the system of the day.
Implement custom modules/extensions/capabilities on the WFM tool
Own the data life cycle management of the workforce management tool and overall data architecture of the WFM system
Oversee WFM Data governance which includes:
Data standards
Data audit
Data pipelines
API connections and Integrations
User access rights
Reporting and analytics
Collaborate with IT on defining the capabilities and driving the implementation of the required Workforce management infrastructure
Ensure optimal and consistent availability and data quality of the WFM tool.
Be the go-to person for integrations between the WFM and other enterprise tools.
Will liaise with the vendor teams for escalations and other relevant situations that require technical support from the vendor.
Point of escalation for system gaps, access, and other issues for Global Service Delivery functions.
Addresses recurring problems by recommending improved work processes, policies, or procedures

Participate in strategic and business planning processes as required
Minimum Qualifications:
3+ years working in a similar role in a busy environment
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or relevant field of Study
Technical expertise is system administration and additional feature implementation
Experience in working with SaaS platforms (Zoho People preferred)
Expertise in configuring and customizing PaaS platforms (Zoho Creator+Deluge preferred)
Experience working with relational and non-relational databases – Bigquery, AWS, Postgres is an added advantage
Working knowledge of data pipelining tools such as Hevo, Stitch data, Pentaho
Experience with transformation tools such as DataForm, and Database Tools (DBT).
Experience with object-oriented/object function scripting languages: Python, JavaScript, Java.
Experience working on CI/CD processes and source control tools such as GitHub.
A successful history of manipulating, processing, and extracting value from large disconnected datasets.
Preferred Qualifications:
Outstanding communication skills, and the ability to stay self-motivated and work with little or no supervision.
Great communication and collaboration skills.
Previous experience in App development
Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
Masters in Computer Science or Information Technology.
