Job Purpose:
To do marketing and communications activities for the Centre for Green Growth and Climate Change and by slight extension assist in the publicity activities for KAM Consulting. This includes mobilizing for participants for specialized energy trainings and managing key events, including but not limited to, the Energy Management Awards and the Clean Energy Conference & Expo.
Duties and Responsibilities
The specific duties and responsibilities will include, but not limited to the following:-
Update the marketing collateral and ensure publicity for the Centre for Green Growth and Climate Change and by extension the entire KAM Consulting Department.
Plan, organize and execute Energy Management Awards (EMA) and Clean Energy Conference and Expo
Mobilize participants to attend the different specialized energy trainings ensuring we meet the set gross and net revenue targets.
Stakeholder management, that is, ensure the sourcing of the right consultants for different services and contract them, ensure partner’s reports are submitted on time, ensure sponsors get value for their sponsorship.
Research on the required skills gap in industry and recommend the necessary training required.
Perform other duties as may be assigned by the CEO
Qualifications:
A degree in Marketing, Business Development or any other related field from a recognized institution,
Advanced training or experience in Sales and Marketing of services, CIM certification added advantage,
Good experience in event management
Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in a similar work environment.
Membership to a professional body like the Marketing Society of Kenya is an added advantage
