The Data Analyst will use their passion for big data and analytics to provide insights to the business covering a range of topics. You’re a data nerd that loves getting deep into mobile app usage data, extracting nuggets of insight. You can differentiate between vanity metrics and identifying KPIs that truly drive a business forward. You have strong communication skills and can translate data into concise summaries and recommendations for key stakeholders. You can navigate funnels, cohorts and can identify trends. You also know your position is key to leading the product team to making informed, data-driven decisions.
Your responsibilities:
Support the Product team with proactive reporting to feed decision making and to assist with new product initiatives.
Leverage data to deliver actionable product recommendations; data analysis would include understanding usage funnels, conducting cohort analyses, identifying long-term trends, building user segmentation, etc.
Be involved throughout the product development cycle to define what/how data should be tracked and produce dashboards with the required tracking.
Set up and analyze A/B tests when launching new product features, and defining the key performance metrics to measure the impact.
Assist the product team with quantifying the size and impact of new product features and provide recommendations for prioritisation.
Assist with establishing a comprehensive, efficient and focused process for reporting on key performance metrics.
Prepare impactful presentations that tell the data story for various stakeholder groups, including senior executive teams.

Requirements
What we expect:
You are a self-starter that can jump in and make an impact quickly.
3 to 5 years of work experience in an analytical role.
Strong problem-solving skills, with an ability to think critically, and provide recommendations.
Highly proficient in Google Sheets, Google Slides, Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
Extensive experience with web analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Omniture/Adobe Analytics, Heap Analytics, Pendo, etc.
Experience with various BI visualisation tools such as Tableau, Looker, etc
Knowledge of MySQL
Strong interpersonal, presentation and organisational skills
Comfortable presenting to senior executive teams
Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines under pressure
Development background is an asset
