Specification    

Train and provide follow-up assistance to clients on business plans, business visits, loan application forms and other necessary credit delivery documents.
Facilitate formation of viable and cohesive solidarity groups and business clubs – The groups are formed with business persons only. All members by word and deed must co-guarantee each other.
Makes appraisal visits to group members in their business and residential. No loan is disbursed without business visit.
Answers client questions and helps them complete loan applications and business plans and ensures all necessary loan processing documents are verified and attached such as passport photographs/group photographs, ID cards etc.
Processes loan applications by verifying necessary information and makes recommendation of only the best groups and clients to the loan approval committee.
Informs loan applicants of the decisions of the loan committee.
Ensures all loan documentation for approved loans including repayment schedule, loan agreement and promissory notes are made and delivered to clients.
Ensures repayments are made before 12:00pm of the repayment as per the loan schedule and groups that have not made the payment have been followed up and report tabled and discussed with the manager – same day.
Regularly tracks upcoming payments and reminds the clients on the repayment.
Ensures groups pay as a solidarity structure and not as individuals.
Periodically visits businesses to assist clients with technical advice, answer questions and verify the economic standing of the enterprise. You should know all the businesses of your clients.
Closely monitors loans in arrears and, through group guarantee and peer pressure on solidarity group, solve loan repayment related problems.
Undertakes clients’ orientation sessions and workshops as necessary.
Through field contact undertake program marketing and encourage new potential clients to seek LETSHEGO KENYA financial services.
Ensure that all policies and procedures governing LETSHEGO KENYA financial services are adhered to.
Ensure correct documentation and filing of the appropriate loans processing documentation, ensure all files have requisite signatures, all group/internal communications are filed and files are in a safely lockable cabinet.
Ensure that reports are made on time and targets set are met.
Perform any other related duty as may be assigned by the Supervisor and or his assignee.

Requirements    

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration/ Economics or a business related field
At least 2 years’ experience in a customer facing/ sales role
Strong understanding of customer insights and analytics
Understanding product and customer lifecycle and management
Integrity and ethical standards
Excellent communication skills
Organisational and planning skills
Analytical skills, good judgment and decision-making ability to interpret businesses’ sales performance and market information.
Ability to identify risks and work on mitigating the risks. Multidisciplinary disposition.
