Who is the Area Sales Manager at Sistema.bio?
Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for recruiting, training, coaching and managing a team of up to 15 sales agents and promoters to meet the hub sales targets through quality sales and maintaining healthy loan portfolios.
You’ll be in charge of:
Achieving and surpassing sales targets of Sistema.bio products.
Recruiting, training, coaching & managing a field-based team of promoters and sales agents.
Building market demand for Sistema.bio products across the assigned Hub through participating in key events.
Building networks with key stakeholders at the local level (government, farmers, cooperatives etc.).
Coordinating with teams across departments to meet the company’s goals.
Sharing stories from the field to share with Farmers and other potential clients.
Maintaining excellence in Customer Service with our existing and new clients.
Leading weekly structured meetings for your team and fostering team spirit.
Recording their inputs weekly to lead them to success.
Recruit and maintain Gender Balanced Teams.
More about YOU
You have 3-5 years’ sales experience in rural selling and hitting targets in related fields like solar, Agri-inputs and regenerative technologies- a record of success
You excel at recruiting and coaching a team of 10+ direct reports towards Growth & Success.
You have worked and sold to farmers before and are passionate about improving their lives, while maintaining a close network of relationships (leads) and satisfied existing clients.
Proficient with data entry and have basic computing skills (MS office)
You are honest, hardworking, self-motivated and coachable
You have a valid driving license
