Role Summary:
This role requires a powerful salesperson in their own right but also someone that knows how to get the best out of their team. The VP of Sales will focus on closing deals with large corporations and SMEs, managing key relationships and building a team to deliver on high-growth targets. The VP of Sales will be the thought leader on and implementer of processes and systems that Amitruck will use to build and manage sales. The right person for this role will further expand their department through strategic hiring, coaching and mentorship of a Sales team.
Responsibilities:
Develop the business unit strategy in consultation with the Acquisition team, Growth and Retention and Marketing in order to achieve business results
Oversee and undertake business development activities by actively pursuing and bringing on board strategic and credible business in order to maximise the company’s commercial success; GMV growth as per set targets
Work cross-functionally with all teams to drive service innovation and product development to deliver the best possible experience for customers and suppliers
Manage Deal Pipeline and source for new potential business deals by contacting potential partners; discovering and exploring opportunities with aim to grow GMV
Manage account receivables activities of the business unit to ensure timely debt collection; under 14 days while ensuring 100% data accuracy and tracking
Work with operations and marketing teams as the local subject matter expert and as project lead to ensure execution on the ground
Work with product and engineering teams to fast track and deliver product development & enhancements for Amitruck customers.
Prepare and present Amitruck performance reports on a weekly and monthly basis; business performance tracking
Lead, hire, coach and motivate a team to ensure high productivity and engagement in the project in order to delivery business results
Engage with regional organizations and businesses to develop partnerships that benefit Amitruck stakeholders
Who we are looking for?
A proven sales closer: You have 8 -15 years of experience in B2B sales with an impressive track record. You excel in closing high value customers
