Your Mission
To coordinate all Sustainable Development initiatives within the area of geographical coverage within Anglophone Africa.
Take full responsibility for the Access to Education program within the area of geographical coverage and act like an owner in all new and existing education partnerships.
Act as the main contact for the Schneider Electric Academy within the area of geographical coverage to promote customer training across all Schneider Electric offers, solutions, segments, and customer types.
Establish Schneider Electric as a global leader in the education segment to offer educational solutions, interventions, equipment and customised projects for all training requirements within the area of geographical coverage.

Access to Education:
Responsible for the end to end project management for the establishment and expansion of new Access to Education training projects and the development of new, sustainable partnerships with vocational training centres.
Collaboration with all universities and training centres to establish strategic partnerships and to establish Schneider Electric as a leading brand in the education segment.
Lead all aspects of partnerships, funding research and project development including the ability to manage projects with different stakeholders at all levels, as well as create project descriptions and commercial offers.
Take full responsibility for all reporting, training centre applications, agreements, quotations, pricing, discount structures, accounts payable, account management, equipment requirements, Laboratory setup, laboratory maintenance and inauguration events in accordance with all legal and sustainable development policies & procedures within Anglophone Africa.
Support with the liaison with Schneider Electric Foundation stakeholders and all other stakeholders relevant to the establishment of new training partnerships.
Take responsibility for Access to Education monthly marketing, communications and reporting and consolidation with Anglophone team.
Lead all arrangements of Schneider Electric teacher’s missions and Community training execution, reporting, and marketing.
Develop entrepreneurship programs to promote access to the economy for students within the various training programs.
Identify synergies with Schneider Academy and encourage collaboration across topics related to education and the promotion of digital educational initiatives within training centre partnerships.
Schneider Electric Academy:
Coordinate training operations for the Schneider Academy, in line with the Services BU, to ensure efficient operations as well as profitability & customer satisfaction.
Collaborate with business units to integrate the Schneider Academy into their daily operations and to offer a value-added service to the organization.
Serve as a central point of contact for all training related queries within Schneider Electric Anglophone Africa Cluster to determine suitable solutions to address all customer training requirements efficiently.
Take full ownership of all customer quotations, invoicing, cost allocations etc. for the Schneider Academy.
Setting up and coordinating of meeting rooms, refreshments, and training materials to standardize and ensure quality.
Issuing of Training Certificates for all customers that have completed their relevant courses
Establish a training database and implement information management systems/databases as required to ensure updated customer training records as well as other systems such as BFO for record-keeping.
Establish and maintain detailed records of all types of training to prepare statistics for analysis of customer types, paid versus complimentary training, etc.
Ensuring that Training courses are presented with maximum capacity delegates for efficiency
Manage the cost of all consumables within the Schneider Academy, such as pens, notebooks, files and USB sticks.
Ensure that all purchases are done in line with the systems, policies and procedures of the Schneider Electric purchasing department.
Business of Education:
Establish the Schneider Electric education offer within the region to grow sales and awareness of the educational offer.
Actively seek new business opportunities including partnerships, tenders, and connections to promote the Schneider Electric educational solutions as part of business development responsibilities.
Business of Education didactic equipment needs analysis and presentation as per customer type and segment requirements.
Establishment of local distributors and potential local manufacturers as and when applicable.
Sustainable Development Governance:
Support the preparation, implementation, monitoring and communication of quarterly and annual sustainable development reporting relating to Education.
Establish an annual calendar for planning and pro-active scheduling of events related to Education, Training & Entrepreneurship.
Preparation, implementation, monitoring and communication of all sustainable development-related documentation, dashboards and records.
Enhancement and management of the Sustainable development framework of policies and procedures to ensure accuracy and efficiency at all times.
Responsibility for all audit documentation preparation and KIC audit compliance without non-conformities.
Preparation and Delivery of Annual Sustainable Development report by end Q1 bi-annually.
Preparation and Delivery of Sustainable Development Storybook for Southern Africa before 31 December per annum.
Preparation of Marketing Communications materials as and when required, including brochures and case studies etc.
Corporate Social Responsibility:
Identify opportunities to collaborate between corporate social responsibility and education to maximize integrated and sustainable projects and partnerships.
Implementation of all Schneider Electric Foundation initiatives and projects.
General:
To ensure that all standard operating procedures are adhered to.
To ensure professional standards are maintained in all business situations.
Management System:
To keep up to date with developments with respect to the management system, as well as apply the policies and procedures relevant to the position.
To communicate improvement possibilities with respect to the management system to the relevant process owner or directly to quality & customer satisfaction and participate in improvement initiatives.
About You
Qualifications
Must have a relevant bachelor’s degree.
Qualification in the field of Energy will be a distinct advantage.
Qualification in the field of Education & Training is desirable.
Minimum of 3-5 years relevant experience in project coordination, education, sales and relationship building/management.
Basic understanding of sales, customer satisfaction and service delivery.
