The ideal candidate is a highly analytical character with ability to process information on enrollment, progression and retention of students for learner support, policy and strategy formulation.
Duties and Responsibilities
Reporting to the Registrar Academic, the position holder will be responsible for the following, amongst others:
Support the process of admission and registration of students.
Analyse and generate informative information from students’ data for decision making.
Prepare reports on student population, cohort progression and completion trends.
Analyse students’ class attendance and take remedial intervention conclusively.
Analyse and report local, national and global trends that impact the University and the industry.
Timely identification and resolution of customer complaints.
Generate quality and accurate data from University processes.
Prepare external reports to statutory and regulatory bodies.
Ensure safety and integrity of students’ records.
Sensitize students on academic policy and students’ code of conduct.
Qualification & Experience
A Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university; a Bachelor degree in Education is desirable.
Minimum of C+ in K.C.S.E. or its equivalent.
At least two years’ experience in a similar role.
Excellent Analytical skills and proficiency in data processing and visualization.
Highly organized with extreme attention to detail.
Good presentation and communication skills.
Ability to go an extra mile, multitask and work with minimal supervision.
